SUBIC BAY NAVAL BASE
~ MUSEUM ~

The Subic Bay Museum USE TO consists of two major plans and now a third one is being looked over.

One - to construct a museum within one of the former base buildings within the former Subic Bay Naval Base.

(update on this plan - the subic bay authorities (SBMA) are stubbing their nose up on this. trying to get a reply is impossible. screw them!

(besides, all the bars/clubs on base have been destroyed except the Cubi O' Club which is going to be use for other purposes.

Two - a roving collection for planned Subic Bay Reunions, to be planned each, or every other year at different locations around the states.

(with my work, this is just to impossible as well, unless it's within my freight lane and time frame.

Three - now a thought is being kicked around to open a Snow Bird Park in Arizona that would have a Military Theme, Bar, Pool and Museum.

(this is all coming about because of the out of control government operating the Communist Country of California. time to blow this lolly pop.

(this will also allow people to visit the museum without the cost of flying to the PI to do so.

(it would also create a place for us former military to conjugate once a year, if not longer. just hope the wife can handle the heat :-)

This has all come about by those that have donated tons of items to me and the site for many reasons (some sad). When given all of these photos and items, I felt obligated to use them to preserve the history and memories for those who were there and the family members who care. Also to set up a situation that allows someone to continue it after I move on to the big NCO club in the sky. This large collection, not only consists of Subic Bay, but of the many other bases that existed in the PI, such as Clark Air Base, Wallace Air Station, John Hay, Sangley, San Mig and others as far back as WWII, such as Nichols Field, Corregidor and all other bases posted on www.USmilitaryPI.com and www.FormerBases.com which consists of former bases in the U.S.
